Traditional Highland Pipe Music

A highland wedding is not complete without a highland piper to pipe and greet the guests on arrival for your wedding.

The following is the normal format for piping at a wedding but can be adapted to suit your individual requiements for your wedding day.

The Skye Piper can pipe the arrival of the guests to the church or wedding venue then the arrival of the bride. Afterwards he can pipe the bride from the car to the door of the church or venue. If the bride wishes to be piped down the aisle, The Skye Piper would be delighted to accommodate this.

Additionally, music can be provided during the signing of the register. After the service, he can pipe the bride and groom out of the church or venue.

The Skye Piper can also play at the reception venue where he will pipe the arrival of the guests to the reception – and of course the arrival of the bride and groom. He can also pipe the top table in and then pipe the bride and groom to the cake for the cutting.

Wedding & Function Disco

Entertain your guests with our popular event disco service

We offer a disco for weddings and functions as well as our pipe and band services. We have a wide range of music from 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s pop dance and all the latest chart music. The disco has proven to be popular with weddings, functions and dances. We have a massive library of songs which we bring along on a laptop. The laptop plugs into the bands PA system (so no extra equipment) and we have some nice lighting effects to create the right disco atmosphere. The choice of music and indeed how the evening entertainment actually runs can be yours to choose (i.e. the proportion of Ceilidh/disco music used).
